微软在9月份首次公开了此功能，现在Insiders终于可以试用了。 在Microsoft启动Windows 10 Redstone 3更新后的短短几个月内，公众将能够测试Windows Defender Application Guard。

要打开Windows Defender Application Guard，请单击“开始”，键入“打开或关闭Windows功能”，然后选择第一个结果。 之后，检查Windows Defender Application Guard选项，单击“确定”，然后重新启动计算机。

再次启动Edge并单击菜单时，您将看到一个名为“ New Application Guard窗口”的新选项。启用此选项后，Edge将打开一个新窗口。 然后，您可以在地址栏中键入任何网站，该会话将由Application Guard隔离。

就技术要求而言，Windows Defender Application Guard需要Windows 10企业版和Hyper-V。

当员工浏览到网络管理员无法识别或信任的站点时，Application Guard会介入以隔离潜在威胁。 Application Guard在硬件层创建Windows的新实例，其中包含内核的完全独立副本以及运行Microsoft Edge所需的最低Windows Platform Services。 基础硬件要求Windows的此单独副本无法访问用户的正常操作环境。
